 Hello everyone, So here we are at the next steps to my weight loss process with VSG! Just to recap I had my surgery done on June 27 of 2023. It is the most wonderful decision I have ever made in my life. I am so happy that life has changed for the best! I not only feel AMAZING, but I'm also mentally happy with the dedication I've shown for the surgery to succeed.  Yes, I have been stuck at 182 pounds for the past month, but I am completely ok with that, considering I've lost 125 pounds in 13 months! My goal weight is 160, and I plan to accomplish this by October. I want to accomplish this goal by October because I'm seeing a plastic surgeon for a panniculectomy. I don't want my plastic surgeon to tell me I need to hit goal before getting the surgery.  Hello everyone,      Wow, 2023 is coming to a close, and it's honestly insane how much has changed. I got a major surgery this year called a VSG or Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Which is a gastric sleeve surgery that restricts your food intake, resulting in weight loss. I got my surgery on June 27th, 2023 and wow, has it been a journey! I’ll state my stats below and hope this can help the journey. I'll recommend apps for your phone to help stay on track.  Starting Weight (SW): 308.2 Surgery Weight: 284 Current Weight (CW): 231.1 Total Weight Loss So Far: 77.1     In the next few blog posts, I'll explain all the steps from start to finish of how I got into my doctor's office and what was done after insurance approved it!
