Sucky Part of Life

     Hey back again! I wanted to start off this blog with some stuff that has been on my mind. Lets start with my god damn weight loss issues! I started my weight loss journey on April 18th, 2016. I had lost over 100 lbs in one year! It was insane! I started eating right and the weight just fell off. I was so damn happy. Actually being happy with what I see in the mirror was an amazing experience. I was on the Weight Watchers program. It was awesome and the meetings were just out of this world! They were so inspirational and motivating.

     I've come to a point that for some reason I CANNOT lose the weight. It's has been getting really hard to stay on track. It all went downhill when I went on a family vacation to Myrtle Beach in June 2017. I was at my absolute lowest weight ever! But now it's crazy how I can't get back on track again. There was another issue that could have contributed to my weight gain but I'll bring that up in another blog post.
   
    YES weight watchers does work! I have seen it work and experienced it! I was accused of have having a weight surgery done to get rid of the weight that's how much I had lost. Damn this topic has really made me upset ;-/. But hey I'm going to try my best to turn this around. Some how some way! THANK YOU for joining me for another blog post. Many more to come! Panniculectomy!

 Hello everyone, So here we are at the next steps to my weight loss process with VSG! Just to recap I had my surgery done on June 27 of 2023. It is the most wonderful decision I have ever made in my life. I am so happy that life has changed for the best! I not only feel AMAZING, but I'm also mentally happy with the dedication I've shown for the surgery to succeed.  Yes, I have been stuck at 182 pounds for the past month, but I am completely ok with that, considering I've lost 125 pounds in 13 months! My goal weight is 160, and I plan to accomplish this by October. I want to accomplish this goal by October because I'm seeing a plastic surgeon for a panniculectomy. I don't want my plastic surgeon to tell me I need to hit goal before getting the surgery. VSG: Weight Loss Surgery

 Hello everyone,      Wow, 2023 is coming to a close, and it's honestly insane how much has changed. I got a major surgery this year called a VSG or Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Which is a gastric sleeve surgery that restricts your food intake, resulting in weight loss. I got my surgery on June 27th, 2023 and wow, has it been a journey! I’ll state my stats below and hope this can help the journey. I'll recommend apps for your phone to help stay on track.  Starting Weight (SW): 308.2 Surgery Weight: 284 Current Weight (CW): 231.1 Total Weight Loss So Far: 77.1     In the next few blog posts, I'll explain all the steps from start to finish of how I got into my doctor's office and what was done after insurance approved it!
